Shawano Gun Club High Power Rifle League Who: Open to All, Cost $5 per night. Sign-up at 5 P.M.. Shooting begins at 5:30 P.M. Course of Fire: NRA Rules 50 Shot National Match Course 5 minute sighter period any position Standing, slow fire, 10 shot in 10 minutes Sitting/Kneeling, rapid fire, 10 shots in 60 seconds Prone, rapid fire, 10 shots in 70 seconds Prone, slow fire, 20 shots in 20 minutes All targets shot from 100 yards on the following targets: SR-1 - Reduction of the SR Target for use at 100 yards to simulate the 200-yard stages of the National Match Course. SR-21 - Reduction of the SR-3 target to simulate the 300-yard stage of the National Match Course at 100 yards. MR-31 - Reduction of the MR-1 target to simulate the 600-yard stage of the National Match Course at 100 yards. Rifle requirements; Any center fire rifle any sights capable of holding 5 rounds and able to be reloaded rapidly. - Reloading during rapid fire strings is required. - Either 2 and 8 or 5 and 5 for a total of 10 shots per rapid fire string. - Modern sporting rifles, magazine fed, or clip fed rifles work well. - The ability to attach military cotton web sling or 1907 style leather sling is helpful. - At least 50 rounds of ammunition plus sighting shots. - Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) (Available at Range) Where: Shawano Gun Club W Chicawatha Cir Wescott, WI 54166 At the 300yd Rifle Range When: Please see the Calendar We can accommodate up tp 20 shooters, please call or text Spencer McGowan at 920-470-9072 to reserve a spot.
